Crunchy leaves, crisp air and pumpkin spice lattes are only a few reasons why I love fall. With the leaves changing, it means it’s finally time to pull out those knee-high boots, so how can this not be someone’s favorite season? With the temperature hitting below 85 degrees, I’m finally able to rock the fall trends that were shown at the last fall fashion week.
One of my favorite shows from fashion week is Lanvin’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear show. The collection consisted of monochrome looks combining different textures, shapes and layers outlines a classic fall look. Using suede, leather and different colors like Lanvin, I put together a classic yet trendy fall look.
Sometimes I think it is hard to feel like I have a unique style. I found the perfect harmony of fall trends, but also my own style, by wearing a suede skirt, a white crop top and a light flannel button-down. With the suede skirt being a trendy piece, wearing a flannel and a textured white tee this look became a classic fall outfit. Rocking different kinds of accessories such as boots and necklaces is always an easy way to add your own sense of style too. Here, I wore Western style booties and a long natural necklace to add color and texture. Being able to take trendy pieces like a suede skirt, inspired by the ones in Lanvin’s collection, and mix them with classic pieces is one of the best ways to stay on-trend but also have your own style.
