As the summer weather is coming to an end, it’s time to start that beloved switch into fall. I think of summer as my last chance to wear all those adorable summer outfits that I haven’t gotten the chance to wear. I decided to take inspiration for my outfit from the sunny and warm summer weather, along with being able to dress girly and comfortable. When I’m shopping or putting together outfits I try and create the best outfit that I can while keeping the price low. All together, this outfit cost me $30. I feel my outfit is more valuable when it cost less because I didn’t break the bank to look good and usually I use the money I save to get some good food afterwards (clearly food is always a priority).
For my outfit I am wearing a pale pink cropped knit tank from Forever 21. I paired it with a black and pale pink floral maxi skirt I found at Salvation Army. The tank is knit so it is warmer and softer to wear which is perfect for the end of summer weather. The skirt is comfy and lightweight which makes it comfortable to wear all day without being uncomfortable. I paired my outfit with a basic pair of Report black sandals. I didn’t want to wear wedges or heels that could get uncomfortable and annoying throughout the day. I think the sandals add a casual but still fashionable look to finish off the outfit.
This look is easy and comfortable that can be repeated easily for a girly, casual, everyday look. By wearing it with heels and a leather jacket this outfit can go from day to night easily. Summer is ending, but fall is right around the corner. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to summer clothes, but a very happy hello to fall weather and fall fashion.
