There is nothing better than grabbing a rainbow bagel and strolling the streets of Shoreditch, East London on a Sunday. It’s one of my favorite parts of town and the best place for a Fashionista/o. From the many graffiti walls to the vast vintage markets there’s a place for any creative mind to flourish.
As some of you may know London Fashion Week 2016 has quickly come and gone and I was lucky enough to be in the center of all the action. Not only were the shows and models looking amazing but so were the crowds. It was so cool to witness the different styles and really opened my eyes to how different fashion on the streets is to the fashion on the stages.
This Sunday I decided to take some inspiration from the fashion shows and street fashion and transform it into my own. Topshop Unique put on an amazing show and I’m obsessed with the edgy leather dark colors. I tried to recreate a lighter toned version for my Sunday spring stroll.
I tried to keep my look as edgy as possible with a choker from Forever 21 and all-black clothes, except for my high-waist jeans from Urban Outfitters. Since spring is right around the corner I decided not to be basic and go for the easy all black outfit like I usually do and add a little color by going with such a light wash.
I’m also currently obsessing over these lace up flats from Head Over Heels by Dune London. I thought they were so cute but also super edgy. They’re perfect for a day of walking and went perfect with my jeans. The main piece that really goes with Topshop Unique at London Fashion Week is my leather jacket from Zara. It has just enough zippers for a tough leather look but it also is the most comfortable and warm jacket. There’s nothing better than fashion and functionality, especially when it comes to leather.
