Hi Fashionistas! It’s finally fall season, filled with pumpkin spice lattes, boots, warm sweaters and all of our favorite things. At the University of South Carolina we always have a fall break scheduled in October for a time to go home and visit family and friends. This fall break I went home to Washington D.C. and it was definitely sweater weather. I wore this particular outfit out walking around and later to dinner at a restaurant with friends.
I rocked my dark brown over the knee boots matching them with a pair of gray over-the-knee sweater socks. I wore this with a purple oversized sweater dress with a cowl neck. Both the dress and the boots are from Lulus, which is one of my favorite online stores to shop with very affordable prices and super trendy clothing. I threw on a floppy hat and sunglasses for day time wear. One great thing about a floppy hat is that if you are having a bad hair day, it’s a sure way to cover that up but still look very fashion forward. The sunglasses I bought from a boutique in South Carolina have a very Dior-esque feel without the Dior price tag. This ensemble is perfect for that fall sweater weather afternoon wear to a night out. This outfit is also great because you are comfy from day to night.
Whether you are running around a city doing errands or going out at night, this is a versatile look. Fall is the perfect time for sweaters, and you can never go wrong with a sweater and boots. Here’s to discovering your inner chic!
