Like most college students, I try to keep up with the trends that won’t break the bank. Personally, I love finding inspiration of the latest trends from outfits on Instagram and even celebrities who are rocking a new look on Snapchat. I always think it’s fun to take fashion risks and try out new looks that don’t stray too far from reflecting my personality.
I wore this look while I was going to dinner with my friends, but I think it is wearable for so many occasions. During the colder months it’s hard to stray from grabbing a sweater and jeans for an easy look. That’s why I love this sweater dress—it is an awesome alternative that pumps up your outfit in a girly way. It’s casual but still comfortable because of the slouchy silhouette and off-the-shoulder style, so you can dress it up or down with accessories. Swapping out the flat boots for a heeled bootie in a fun pattern could dress up this look, or grab your favorite pair of Adidas to dress it down.
For this look I paired my sweater dress with some over-the-knee boots, and a black velvet choker. I am obsessed with the over-the-knee boot trend, but I love this pair because the flat heel can be worn as a comfortable and casual look. Velvet has also been a huge trend this winter and I love throwing on this velvet choker with almost everything I own.
This look completely represents my style because I always want to look put together while still being comfortable!
