So as we all know, it’s definitely been getting much colder lately, which means sweater (coat and scarf) weather are on in full force. But it can be tricky to try and look chic in the colder months, fear not I’m here to help. The key to winter warmth is layering, this high neck oversized sweatshirt is an easy statement piece to spruce up any outfit. I bundled up with some thermal underneath, you can also add a coat and scarf to help keep you warm and toasty. Pair it with some ripped denim, ankle grazers or joggers for a more casual look. I’ve tried to highlight my statement piece by pairing it with basic monochromatic pieces, a classic pair of ankle length trousers, and the all-purpose Timberland.

I love the colour and text as well as the small details that make it all the more of a statement piece. My favourite element is the split on the side with the text “next day”. A jumper is as much a wardrobe staple as it is a fashion statement, it can be layered under a larger coat for added warmth! Quick tip; by doing this you’ll stay warm, and keep outfit intact even after removing your larger jacket. You’ll never need to remove your extra layers for fear of overheating. I know right?
