While winter is nearly nonexistent to central Floridians, those few days out of the year where it drops below 80 degrees give the perfect opportunity to dust off your favorite cool weather attire. You can pretty much sense the excitement in the air when jackets or boots are actually appropriate items to slip into. I know I love a good sweater, but I own far too many than any Floridian would ever realistically get to use. However, I am a sucker for a good statement piece, so when I saw this embroidered bomber jacket, it was love at first sight. Plus, bomber jackets aren’t totally ridiculous to bust out in this Florida weather since they offer a nice outer layer that’s not too heavy. They have definitely been having a major moment this year to the point where I was noticing them in just about every store I stepped foot into. I knew I wasn’t going to buy one unless I found one I really loved for the price, and it’s when I came across that embroidered bomber jacket that I instantly knew I had to have it.
When it came to the rest of this outfit, I wanted it to remain pretty simple, keeping the main focus on the bomber jacket. I opted for my absolute favorite black flats. You never really run out of use for shoes like these, and that’s what I love so much about them. I kept the jeans and top neutral since I didn’t want things to be too busy. To finish of the look, I went for a dainty, detailed choker. I like how this choker sticks to the edginess of the outfit, yet has an undeniably feminine touch. I see this outfit as my way of making a bold statement with minimal effort.
