With summer slowly ending and school approaching ever so rapidly, its time to get out those last cute summer outfits we have all been saving for the perfect moment. I sparked a little inspiration from the Aouadi 2016 spring couture collection, full of neutral shades from nudes, creams, rose, and black. The simplicity of color is what spark my interest to try something new and keep everything monotoned.Â
The first piece I started off with is these soft shorts. I found this pair of mauve/brown ones from the beloved Forever 21, what I love about these is that they are high waisted. Personally, I love high waisted bottoms I find them super flattering on my body shape. Now soft shorts are another one of my favorite things to wear especially in the hotter times of the year since, they are not super tight so they provide a nice air flow on these hot days. Out of all of the different types of shorts I own these flowy soft shorts are my absolute favorite. Not only are they more comfortable than any kind of denim shorts I find them to be more cute since they can come in all different patterns, styles, and colors. I wanted to keep this simple and light weight so, I paired them with a basic white crop top.
When it came to accessorizing, I wanted things as simple. Seeing the choker trend make its rounds back to being cool again, I jumped on the opportunity to sport this nude suede pearl choker. With it being a nude suede material its something I can see myself wearing year around to spice up any outfit. Also, bracelets are my absolute favorite thing to wear all the time but these ones in specific are perfect for this time of the year. These Pura Vida bracelets are wax coded so they are great to wear to the beach since they are waterproof, and a pop of color to any outfit. Finally to top everything off, shoes. Gladiator sandals are my all time favorite to wear in the summer time, they make you feel like you are trying to look good but you really aren’t. They add just the right amount of detail to top of this simple neutral outfit.
