One of my favorite trends to rock this fall is bomber jackets. Leather, satin and embroidered finishes are just a slim view at the whole range of these outerwear pieces. Models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid rock bombers in their “off duty” looks with leggings and tennis shoes. Bomber jackets can make any look dressy or casual. For example, throw a satin bomber over a T-shirt dress to make the dress look effortless. Or, pair some ripped jeans with a leather bomber to wear on a night out.
When I first saw this trend, I thought it wasn’t my style at all. I was more drawn to the simple bombers, but now I have come to enjoy ones with crazy designs on the back and sleeves. If you’re feeling the same way, just know that these jackets come in so many different styles that you’re bound to find something you like.
I went for an edgy look with my bomber jacket, which has red embroidered detailing on it. My white V-neck and black shorts are plain as it is, so putting on this bomber, featuring the pop of red, gives it some spice. I love transitioning my summer pieces into fall looks.
Booties are a great option to pair with your summer shorts and dresses. The booties I am wearing are perfect with this bomber, adding just the right amount of edge to the outfit. I completed my look with a silver choker and some sunglasses. I think bombers are a perfect staple in a college student’s wardrobe because you can wear it with your lazy day attire and still look put together.
