Since jeans go with basically anything, college students love to throw on a nice pair of jeans and run out the door. There are so many options of colored denims: white denim, dark wash denim and distressed denim to name a few. Denim is an effortless and classic fashion trend that we will never see disappear. Regardless of the season or year, denim rocks on both the runway and the streets.
As I styled this outfit, I took inspiration from Fashion East’s spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection. This runway collection featured white denim but in a unique and interesting way. The denim was distressed and was used as an artistic element and addition to the overall ensemble. I styled myself in a pair of Gap white denim cropped skinny jeans and a loose fitting peach tank top from PacSun. The lace detailing at the bottom of the crochet tank top gives a delicate and bohemian vibe to my style of the day. I decided not to incorporate the distressed texture of the jeans because I wanted to keep my look more sophisticated and classy. I love white jeans because you can style a dressy outfit with them to wear out at night, or you can make a casual look for the daytime.
I added a dainty arrow necklace that represents my school, Florida State University. Go Noles! My silver sandals by Jack Rogers complete the look and match my necklace. My Ray-Ban sunglasses go with everything that I throw on, and I absolutely love that they go with this stylish outfit.
