Bomber jackets. We’ve all been seeing this trend around for quite some time now, but they in fact have been around longer than most think. The bomber jacket first came about around the 1940’s, usually seen on by men in the army and air force. Just like history, fashion repeats itself, and boy am I glad this came back.
Now that fall is slowly approaching, my bomber jacket collection will be put to full use. My favorite way to style a bomber jacket is to pair it with a band T-shirt and cool skinny jeans. I also love to pair a bomber jacket with a dress and sneakers to turn a more feminine look a little bit edgy. I love a great bomber because it can help dress up any plain outfit and help give it the cool girl/guy effect it needs.
Bomber jackets come in a variety of styles, colors, silhouettes and fabrics that its almost impossible not to find the perfect one. You can go for one on the more basic side or let your crazy side come out with cool patchwork or embroidery. Since the weather in New York is transitioning from summer to fall, my lightweight bomber jacket is currently the way to go.
I enjoy walking around New York City and seeing all the different variations of the bomber. I also love inspiring others about these jackets because it is a trend I am absolutely loving and feel comfortable in. Lets see how many new and unique bomber jacket styles we will see this month at New York Fashion Week!
