The Givenchy spring summer ready-to-wear 2015 show really inspired my love for the thigh-high boot. I am obsessed with how different and edgy they all are. The runway collection included dark laced up tops that gave me inspiration to wear the sweater I did in this look. I am obsessed with how edgy and unique each look is and love the use of grommets, cut outs and mix of black and white tones. The look that inspired my outfit the most would be look number 21 where model Waleska Gorczevski  is seen wearing a black lace-up top, black pants and over the knee black boots. The leather open toe thigh-high boots are so cool. The great thing about this collection was the dark tones they incorporated into the pieces which is usually what I’m drawn to.
The boot to wear for the past few years has been anything made by Stuart Weitzman. Fashion icons including Olivia Palermo and supermodels like Gisele Bündchen have been seen in these fabulous boots. I finally took the time to go into the store and try on a bunch of their best styles and get a pair for myself.
To imitate the boots from this collection, I decided to go with a pair that was perfect for my long legs. They hit my upper thigh which is perfect for a colder day to pair them with jeans or even a cute short dress. My jeans that I wore to go with my boots are from J Brand, and I love the pocket detailing along the sides of the jeans that go along with the edgy zippers.These jeans are extremely comfortable for everyday wear.
