Being able to incorporate the latest trends from fashion shows into your own style and looks is extremely important. I really enjoy taking inspiration from collections and incorporating my personal style to create fun and trendful outfits. This time, I decided to take inspiration from Dolce&Gabbana’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce did an absolutely stunning job by featuring the concept of La Mamma and dedicating the collection to the main fulcrum of the family; all mothers in the world.
The rose was the main star of the show, not only because it symbolizes what we usually give to our mothers for special occasions and dates, but because it reminds the designers of their own mothers and childhood. The positive message of the show is to demonstrate that everything we are is a result of where we come from. I then incorporated my look based on roses and the many long dresses he designed for this specific collection. Also, since I love romantic and feminine looks, this was a perfect collection to take inspiration from.
The maxi floral dress is great for the summertime and can be worn in many occasions. I decided to go with a more romantic chic look so I styled it with beige wedges and a cute summer straw clutch. However, to create a more carefree casual summer style, you can simply switch the heels into sandals.
Accessories are the greatest finishing touch to any outfit so I invested on rings and bracelets to continue on with the summer feel and ended with a red flower on my hair to give even more life as well as romance into my look. It is a simple outfit, but it can look very charming due to the floral details. Dolce&Gabbana’s collection is very versatile, allowing women to wear these looks in many ages and occasions.
I fell in love with the roses in this fall 2015 collection and as you can see, it is not that difficult to incorporate those into your own style too. After all, fashion is all about having fun, and more than that, it is about knowing what you like and being your own and true self!
