Growing up outside New York City urban fashion has always had a huge influence on my style. Because the city is so diverse, there are so many different definitions of street style. From the thrift store looks in the subway to the fur and couture seen in Saks. To me, street style is about simplicity with a statement piece.
Whether I’m shopping in SoHo or going to an art gallery downtown I keep my look simple. Depending on the season I typically wear black jeans, ankle boots, and a statement piece with a pop of color. When putting together an outfit I usually find one piece that I want to show off and chose clothes to compliment it.
For this look I’m wearing a Sorella Girls Tour bomber jacket that I got on Melrose, distressed Frame jeans, Sam Edelman booties, a T-shirt from Emma and Sam, and to complete the look a pair of oversized sunglasses. I decided to keep the outfit simple in order to showcase the Girls Tour bomber.
