The recent spring 2015 ready-to-wear show by Rebecca Minkoff utilized mixing colors in multiple looks that strutted down the runway. There were also some pops of pink seen throughout the show, which could not be a more ideal color for spring. Rebecca Minkoff uses her exquisite taste to pair different colors that are able to complement one another and complete the overall look she wants to achieve. This collection is effortless and is the perfect inspiration to get you in the mood for spring!
Today I went for a look that took inspiration from the use of color and styling of the Rebecca Minkoff show. Spring has finally arrived, so I wanted to wear something that would be perfect for a warm day and would scream springtime. My top is a fuchsia pink, which I bought from a local boutique in Dallas, Texas. I contemplated for a while if I should play it safe with some simple white earrings or go bold and throw on my favorite turquoise Kendra Scott Danielle earrings. In the end the bold choice won! I went for a neutral sandal to balance out the heavy use of bright colors on top and wore my favorite pair of skinny jeans on bottom.
The spring 2015 show really inspired me to not be afraid to mix and match with colors and different styles that you might find in your closet. I am definitely going to be branching out with my color palette and will be adding some brighter pieces to my closet to liven it up!
Get My Look: 1. A vibrant pink blouse. 2. The perfect turquoise earrings. 3. Those Tory Burch sandals you have always wanted.
