If your style is anything similar to mine, you love wearing vibrant colors and don’t mind standing out in a crowd. The Chanel spring 2015 ready-to-wear fashion show was full of such lively and vivid prints. The beautiful designs were color-coordinated, yet wild. All of the looks in the show made a bold statement, and I think that is going to be huge in the fashion industry this spring!
Although my closet already resembles a rainbow, I was inspired by the show and had to go buy something that gave me more than just a pop of color. Featured in my outfit is a printed coral J.Crew tunic. Believe it or not, this top is actually very versatile! I decided to tuck it in for a more polished look. However, since tunics are generally longer in length the shirt actually hits me mid-thigh. A top similar to mine would be great for wearing with leggings, or even over your bathing suit on vacation! The color and print of my tunic will stand out no matter what I pair it with. Since it was a sunny spring day, I paired it with white cropped jeans along with a braided belt to add some detail. I also wore silver sandals along with my infamous sterling silver Fossil watch (pictured in two of my other articles). To top off my look, I gave my makeup a pop of color with a red lip.
Bold and vibrant prints are definitely trending this spring season. If you tend to wear more neutrals, you can still make your look stand out. I translated this look from runway to everyday with one simple element in my outfit. A fun printed scarf, skirt or even shoes can go a long way!
