Now that summer is officially here, I decided to take a look at the latest Vogue runway shows in order to keep up with the new trends. While spending hours looking through all of the fabulous looks, I was able to relate very well to the Tibi resort 2017 collection. The garments are loose and comfortable looking, but they are also unique and can be worn in other seasons besides summer. Wearability and simplicity were the specific aspects I was inspired by from this collection, along with the solid colors.
The Tibi resort 2017 collection included a beautiful burnt orange color, perfect for summer. I found a simple T-shirt dress in this color from Forever 21 last summer and paired it with some gold jewelry. This hue is different in my opinion since you don’t see it used in collections as often as other colors. Since the T-shirt dress alone was a bit boring for my taste, I tied a denim button-down shirt around my waist. I chose this piece because denim was a fabric used in several looks from the Tibi collection and it was also pretty windy the day these pictures were taken! With that being said, there was also not a cloud in the sky and that meant pulling out a pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses I’m wearing are cat eye-styled with a leopard print to add some sass to my look.
Now, my shoes have got to be my favorite part about this outfit since they have such a distinct look and I haven’t seen anyone else with them! They are nude which allows them to be worn with many different colors and they are super comfortable! If you look closely you’ll notice that have a laser cut design in them and they lace up as well. I mentioned before that I accessorized this outfit with gold jewelry; I’m wearing a bar necklace and a longer necklace with a white stone dangling from it, and on my wrist is my rose gold Marc Jacobs watch. The best part about my look is that it can be worn throughout multiple seasons and it’s super easy to throw on!
