To all my music gurus, this one’s for you.
If you’re an avid concert goer like myself, you’ve most likely struggled with what to wear for winter concerts. This usually results in ripping nearly every article of clothing out of your closet, and your roommate’s closet to try and find something suitable.
Putting together an outfit for a winter concert isn’t as easy as throwing on cut-off denim and crop tops during festival season. Most winter staple items are chunky, oversize sweaters and fur-lined boots. You will be struggling between wanting to dress warm, (as the weather outside is cold) but knowing once you enter that jam-packed concert venue full of people, it’s going to get hot.
My rad Fashionistas, the secret is layering.
For my look, I focused on light layers and art. I started my outfit with a lightweight and trendy graphic T-shirt. The one I’ve styled in this look is the Adidas Trefoil T-shirt that I distressed with bleach to create more of an art form and a statement. I tucked the T-shirt into a black asymmetrical skort, adding dimension to the look and practicality for moving around and dancing. Over top, I layered a light, canvas camo jacket to add warmth to the look and contrast against the distressed T-shirt adding attention to both patterns. I styled the outfit with a pair of comfortable peep toe booties from Steve Madden, and finished off the look with layered dainty gold chokers from ALV Jewels.
Stay listening to rad music, dressing rad and being rad.
