Hi! My name is Addie Rippin, and I am studying graphic design at Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida. I spend my summers getting sandy, sunbathing and trying to surf, in my hometown of Ocean City, Maryland. I am completely obsessed with a strong cup of coffee, a new pair of shoes and exciting adventures. Summer is always crazy busy for me;  from going to the beach, then to work and finally ending it with my friends and family. A summer tan and salty hair is always a part of my summer style.
My style is very natural and fun. I find inspiration in nature and in the color schemes that nature provides. Everything from the hues at sunrise that surprise you with every new day to the sunsets splashing into the bay in the evening influence the color in my designs, as well as my style.  The different colors of blue looking out into the Atlantic where it meets the sky is breathtaking. A summer storm sneaking in from the west with dark spiraling clouds moving quickly provides a dramatic color palette. Those different shades represent moods in my mind and influence the colors I choose to wear. Simplistic lines and organic shapes also play a role in my style. Clothes must be worn to represent you and your body. The clothes you choose to wear, their colors and their lines, show who you are and how you are feeling. It’s an expression of your soul. I hope wherever life takes me, style and fashion will always be a part of it and that my style evolves as I grow.
