Hey all! Short sleeve weather has officially gone into hibernation and it’s time to swap out your T-shirts for something a bit warmer and more sophisticated.
Here, at Oregon State University, my lifestyle involves countless extra curricular activities. When I’m not on the lacrosse field I’m attending meetings for DamChic (the fashion magazine on campus) and putting together its next DIY insert. Otherwise, you can find me working events for the various clients at the university’s event center or planning my next big adventure. Being a merchandise management major requires me to look put together at many of the activities or events I attend, so naturally, I do everything I can to accomplish this goal without foregoing my comfort.
In this look I paired a slouchy blouse with my favorite relaxed cargo pants. Matching a dressy top with a relaxed pant emphasizes the effortless vibe I go for. To top off the outfit, I threw on a pair of healed booties and a watch to create a more sophisticated ensemble. No matter what I’m wearing, you can always find the time (in a variety of colors) on my wrist. Watches are my go-to accessories. My style is all about being comfortable and casual but also being able to incorporate a swanky bag, a pair of jazzy earrings or lavish healed shoes it dress it up. Or, rather, doing the opposite by pairing some fresh sneakers with your favorite dress to let people know you mean business. I like to switch it up by wearing pieces from all types of styles to avoid getting bored. It’s my little way of keeping myself entertained. Living in Oregon gives me the perfect opportunity to experience each of the four seasons and change it up as the weather takes its turn.
