The ’90s were a great time for pop culture, music and, yes, fashion. The decade was characterized by the youthful movement; where concepts of rebellion, grunge and individuality were reflected not only in their lifestyles, but fashion choices as well.
Less than 20 years later and those same feelings of empowerment and identity are stronger than ever among milliennials and Gen Zers. So it makes sense that these ’90s babies can’t get enough of ’90s fashion trends.
First came the snap back. Then came the mom jean. A few choker and sneaker styles later and next thing you know the ’90s aren’t having a moment, they’re full-on back in style.
So throw on a pair of culottes, tie a sweatshirt around your waist and turn that hat backwards. Because we don’t have one ’90s trend for you to try, we have 24.
