Summer has arrived, and that means new summer skin products! It’s hot, humid, and incredibly difficult to find products that promote healthy skin. Whenever I find a little extra cash, I like to try some of the latest beauty crazes and see if they become some of my favorites as well. Today I have for you three summer skin care must-haves that have changed my life! Each product is under $10!
So let’s start at the base with a great hydrating spray. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, & Rosewater is a must-have for summer. I am absolutely in love with this stuff! It’s a sweet smelling pink spray that comes in a little plastic bottle. Amazingly, this is an extremely versatile spray! Not only does it hydrate the skin, which is perfect for the hot summer, but it can be used as a setting spray for your makeup. I don’t know about you, but when a product becomes a 2-in-1, it makes me love it even more.
It seems like everyone and their mother is obsessed with sheet masks these days, and I am no exception. My current favorite sheet mask brand is Tony Moly. Not only is the packaging absolutely adorable, but there are masks to meet every skincare need; from aloe sheet masks for moisture, to pomegranate for elasticity, Tony Moly has it all. The one featured below is the I’m Real Red Wine Mask Sheet meant to tighten uneven skin texture and take care of pores. What I love about these masks is that they’re easy to use and are saturated with product. Just lay them on your face for 15 minutes, take off the sheet, and rub the remaining product into your skin. These masks are a great way to beat the heat and soothe your summer skin.
The last product I want to feature has been getting some major headlines recently. Micellar Water came into the spotlight in 2016 as being the go-to makeup remover for celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Coco Rocha according to NY Daily News. This new product claims to be an all-in-one cleanser that’s gentle on the skin. I’ve been using it for the last six months, and I am thoroughly impressed. It removes all my stubborn makeup and leaves my skin hydrated. For a lazy girl like me, the fact that I don’t have to wash it off afterwards is a dream and makes this product completely worth buying!
