We all dream of traveling, whether it’s going to new exotic places or just going on a little getaway. If you’re given the chance to get out of town and enjoy life, take it. There’s so much more to traveling than taking a break from the everyday norm. It can inspire you to spice up your closet or your beauty habits. Here are five ways that traveling is fashionably inspiring!
—You’ll see different people from different places. Where you come from affects how you look and there’s nothing wrong with that. Diversity is a beautiful thing; it makes fashion fun. Next time you’re out laying on the beach, running around a theme park, shopping till you’re dropping, or exploring another country, observe your surroundings. You might see a look you’ll want to compliment or recreate.
—Planned activities play a part in how you present yourself. For example, if you go to a music festival like Coachella you aren’t going to wear dull colored clothes and a naked face. Bold makeup is a huge trend this summer for these festivities. They’re so beautiful you’ll definitely wanna give the trends a try even though they aren’t an everyday look.
—Clothing stores offer different styles in different locations. If you live in a small town like I do, then you already know how hard it is to find trendy clothes. If you go to a city, you can find just about everything that you’ve been eyeing on Instagram. Traveling outside of the country will lead you to styles worth bringing back home with you.
—Where you stay overnight can affect your mood. There’s something about feeling luxurious that can just boost how you feel. Fluffy pillows, robes, marble counter tops, adorable lobbies, and head-to-toe mirrors? Sign me up.
—Having fun create’s confidence. You might notice you’ll grow a little carefree if you’re enjoying yourself. You’ll be so focused on your happiness that the little black dress that’s hiding in the back of your closet won’t seem so scary anymore. Confidence is key; it’s easier to hold when you’re not dwelling on insecurities. Pack the bikini, the bralette top, or whatever you own that you’ve been nervous to wear and own it.
