I don’t know about you, but fall and winter are my absolute favorite seasons for fashion. Warmer tones take over my closet, layering becomes an Olympic sport, and no one gives the blanket scarf that is as big as me a second thought.
But what do you do when it’s 70 degrees out and sunny in the middle of so-called winter?
This Fashionista executes the “California Winter” look effortlessly. Her bohemian long sleeve shirt is breathable yet comfortable. The extra detailing along the front seam transform this shirt from basic to chic. This Fashionista then paired this shirt with a simple pair of fitted, high-waisted black shorts. Pairing these two pieces together creates quite the juxtaposition because this Fashionista is wearing a long sleeve shirt with shorts, but adding a pair of sheer black tights turns this outfit into a go-to winter outfit.
To add a more flirty and feminine touch, this Fashionista wore her favorite black booties. But if comfort is the name of your game, feel free to exchange a cute pair of heeled booties for your favorite pair of combat boots to give this look a little more edge.
If you live in a place that gets a little more chilly, simply add a coat to give this outfit a dash of color and sensibility. Just don’t forget your mittens and earmuffs!
Until next time, Fashionistas. And don’t forget to stay warm!
