It is the beginning of a new school year! Everyone is looking forward to seeing their friends and decorating their new dorm rooms, but coming to college also means attending class. The first day of classes is always stressful because everything is new again. One thing that is not new is your clothes, yet picking an outfit can be so hard! Dressing for success does not come naturally to all, but this Fashionista is a natural.
This Fashionista has found the perfect balance between classy and sassy. She is styling a light wash chambray circle skirt from American Apparel with a white halter crop top from Brandy Melville. It is a simple outfit at first glance but the accessories really add a pop. An Urban Outfitters lacy bralette that shows through the top adds style and comfort. Rounded thick framed mirror sunglasses are a must this fall, especially when walking to class.
Her Lokai bracelet is the perfect accessory for any outfit, and it is keeping with the tones of this outfit. Loving her RAD toe ring, very subtle yet such a great addition to the outfit. The silver metallic sandals are perfect to show off the toe ring and are comfortable enough to walk all around campus in. To top it all off this backpack is funky and very useful because we are at school to take class.
Now, this is not just a first day of school outfit, but it is a great way to kick off the year on a fashionable foot. Classes can get long and classrooms can get hot so this outfit is perfect for these first few weeks of classes. Up here in Syracuse it is snowy for the majority of the year so why not pull out all your cutest clothes for these few weeks?
One Simple Change:Â Don’t have a lot of time to change before a dinner out with friends? Just slip on a pair of wedges to dress up this outfit or, if it is getting chilly out, slip on a pair of high waisted distressed jeans.
