You know that saying, as one door closes another one opens? That’s how I feel about the end of the spring semester and the beginning of the fall semester. The fall semester always calls for cute and fall-inspired outfits that you probably don’t need, but you most definitely do want! Currently, we’re stuck in this awkward hot fall and I don’t know what to wear to class without dying from a heat stroke.
The Fashionista in this article clearly is doing the whole awkward phase of fall the right way. She is dressed very casually, but still chic. Her shift dress has the perfect amount of flowlines to allow maximum breeze while incorporating a flattering, fall pattern. The simplicity of her outfit shows that this isn’t her first time at the big dance of the first day of classes. This dress is also versatile and can be worn when it gets a little colder with a pair of tights and riding boots!
She decided to accessorize her outfit with a pair of beachy earrings and a pair of very comfortable flip flops for her first day of classes outfit. Flip flops are one of my go-to staple pieces especially in this heat when your feet just need to breathe, and they are truly comfortable for a long day on your feet. She kept with her beach-inspired theme and wore simplistic bracelets for just a little extra detail. If you want to switch it up, swap out the flip flops for a pair of strappy wedges for a flirty date night outfit!
