It’s Sunday morning and you finally have a day off from work, shocker I know. So what are you supposed to do with this rare and precious day off? Just as you start to plan your day you get a group text: “Brunch at 11:00?” Of course you’re in. There is just one tiny issue, what are you supposed to wear? Brunch is a casual, but not too casual. It can be hard to find the right balance between casual and dressy, however this Fashionista had no problems bridging the gap between the two.
Now most of you know that I have a soft spot for rompers. Personally I think the right romper is appropriate for any occasion especially Sunday morning brunch. Now lets be honest with ourselves, most of us are not morning people and weekend mornings aren’t any different. But if you’re going to go out for brunch you might as well go out in style. You cannot, I repeat cannot, go wrong with a simple romper and a few statement accessories. Our Fashionista did just this with her adorable, yet simple, outfit. She rocked a teal romper with light brown, leather caged sandals and a black Steve Madden bag. So simple. So chic. So ready for brunch. The great thing about an outfit like this is the versatility. You might be wearing it to brunch but its prefect for the rest of the day and even into the night.
One Simple Change: We all know the temperature in a restaurant can be finicky. In order to stay comfortable yet fashionable I suggest bring along a light blue denim jean jacket or an over-sized knit cardigan to keep you warm and cozy during your brunch adventure.
