I can’t believe that we are more than halfway through August. Where has this summer gone? Hopefully, you all had a fabulous and fashionable break from the chaos of college, but now it’s time to ditch the beach and hit the books. Although going back to school and reuniting with your collegiate companions is exciting, it’s hard to say goodbye to your friends at home. Before the end of each break, my friends and I have a farewell brunch. Having a final get-together as a group provides a sense of closure, and the pancakes and French toast are great comfort foods. Apparently, I’m not the only one who believes in the importance of brunches. I spotted this Fashionista on her way to, you guessed it, brunch! I also love how this dress walks the line between classy and casual. The lace fabric gives the dress an elegant air, but the simple silhouette prevents our Fashionista from looking overdressed.
