I don’t know about you, but breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. And nothing makes it better than waking up late on a Sunday morning, getting together with my girlfriends and enjoying a big plate of waffles (but of course after I’ve gotten the perfect picture of it for Instagram).
That being said, brunch is no exception when it comes to dressing fabulously. But let’s be serious- no one wants to wake up early and put on something that isn’t comfortable. And dressing comfortably for brunch can be a daunting task. After all, you want to be the most stylish one at the breakfast table.
This Fashionista does this just right for an early spring brunch. Although it’s an exciting time of year, when the weather warms up, I wouldn’t rush into my favorite strapless sundress just yet. It might be 60 degrees, but the morning is probably not that warm. And especially if you want to enjoy your brunch outside, it’s important to be a little bundled up.
I suggest throwing on a pair of your most comfortable jeans. This Fashionista wears a black pair with zippered details. Topping it off with a cute and comfortable red top gives her look a pop of color, so she’s sure to stand out. Adding a coat and a plaid scarf keep her warm if she wants to dine outside.
One Simple Change: Because this look is a great transition outfit from winter to spring, throwing on a pair of over-the-knee boots would make this very appropriate or winter. Some of us don’t necessarily get spring in March, so for all you Fashionistas out there still dealing with the snow, throw on some boots, and you’re good to go!
