Hey there Fashionistas! With summer here and finals just a distant and fading nightmare, fashionable outings are finally on the regular agenda again. Sunny days call for cute summer dresses and fun, trendy accessories to tie your weather-appropriate, fashionable outfit together. Brunch has become the new “it” outing for us ladies; it’s our own 21st century working woman’s revamped and stylish version of “tea time.” Whether it’s your recovery meal from the night before with your girlfriends or a chance to catch up on the week’s gossip and news over mimosas, brunch is a meal worth getting dolled up for. Once the semester ends, I personally find that I have just as few hours in the day as I did when English homework was my hot date every weekend. Work starts to take precedent over a social life and brunch is my dressy solace.

You’ve got a breezy and very fashionable outfit for brunch with the girls. The sandals are your trendy item; they give the outfit more of a laid back and warm weather feel while presenting the lace-up look that is all the rage right now! Adding a pop of color with your accessories, like a necklace, will add a little more playfulness to your outfit and help make your look appear more complete and pulled together. One Simple Change: Once brunch is over and you decide you want to run a few errands around town, take your look to a new laid back and comfy level by throwing on a cute pair of sneakers like Converse or slip-on Vans.
