With the weather warming up and our schedules clearing up, it’s finally the season for one of my favorite Sunday occasions—brunch. Brunch isn’t just the tastiest and arguably most important meal there is, it’s also a perfect occasion to dress up and channel season one Blair Waldorf. As for our guys, brunch gives them a chance to part with their visibly very well-loved T-shirts, if only for a few hours, to become our personal Nate Archibalds.
Brunch in Central Florida isn’t the fanciest affair, so the Fashionisto pictured here is styling a very laid-back and casual outfit for the occasion. He paired a crisp and clean white polo shirt with a pair of cerulean chino shorts for a contrasted look that’s both effortlessly classy and cool. The look is tied together with light brown leather featured on the large face watch and lace-up boat shoes.
This look is perfect for spring or summer in Florida or any other Southern state and works for any brunch be it inside or out. The short sleeves on the shirt and cropped hem on the shorts keeps the Fashionisto cool in the midst of the summer heat while the collar and accents on the watch add their fair share of class and elegance.
One Simple Change:Â This look is very casual and is perfect for a daytime occasion. Switching the chino shorts out for a classic pair of khakis would take the outfit from day to night for dinner with the parents or date night. The fun doesn’t have to stop at brunch.
