Is there anything better than a Sunday brunch? Answer: no, there is not! Brunch and looking fabulous are two of mine and this Fashionista’s favorite things. During the summer is the perfect time to spend your Sunday afternoons gossiping with your girlfriends about your Saturday night out while sipping on mimosas. Unlimited mimosas, cute clothes and my girls—yes, please!
This Fashionista knows that when you’re in the Big Apple one must always look their best while walking the streets and admiring the city. Her high-waisted Free People dark wash jeans are the perfect choice for moving around the city. She pairs it with her blue Topshop tasseled camisole, which is breathable for hot summer days in the city. Stepping away from her all over blue look, she paired her outfit with a pair of brown and gold slip-on sandals which she got for a steal at Target. She kept her look simple by adding just a few pieces of jewelry, like the Kendra Scott Druzy stone necklace featured below. For bracelets, she wears her everyday ones: a white and silver beaded Lily and Laura along with a gold Alex and Ani. Her rings are my favorite part of her accessories because they give an elegant feel.
One Simple Change: On hot days in the city, it’s not always ideal to be running your errands in a pair of jeans. If this Fashionista changed the jeans to a pair of white shorts and kept the rest of the look the same, she would be cool and chic as she’s walking from the subway to the market.
