Brunch, without a doubt, is my favorite meal. It’s the perfect opportunity to dress up, eat great food and have a relaxing couple of hours before the havoc of the work week begins. In the summer, an outdoor or rooftop brunch is a must but the summer heat can take a toll on your outfit. I never like to let the weather lessen my style.
This Fashionista beat the heat by pairing a simple, soft colored T-shirt with a statement pair of shorts. Wearing a light-colored T-shirt keeps her cool in the heat while the bold-patterned bottom allows her to keep the rest of her outfit minimalist. Her cross-body bag matches her outfit perfectly and is just big enough to fit all her essentials. The bag is comfortable to carry on her shoulder if walking through the city on her way to and from brunch as well as perfect to rest it on the back of her chair to keep it out of the way of the table and the dirty floor. This Fashionista makes the most of the summer suede trend by dressing up her outfit with a tan block heel sandal plus a simple necklace.
Choosing to keep her hair and makeup minimal and natural keeps her fresh-faced and less prone to sweating off makeup in the humidity. To top off the look, she added a trendy pair of sunnies that look cute and chic but are comfortable to wear throughout the meal!
One Simple Change:Â Have a girl’s night out later? Trade the shorts in for a patterned skirt and the look is just as perfect!
