Happy spring semester, Fashionistas! It’s the start of the new year and I could not wait any longer to settle back into the sweet valleys of Virginia. As the semester begins again, so do the trends. Some students are eager to hit the books while this Fashionista is eager to show off her new looks, purchased over the long winter break.
Picking out the perfect outfit for class never seems to get easier, especially for a girl who never dresses down. This Fashionista sports her boyfriend jeans at least once a week. Her effortless look can be worn so many ways. It is absolutely perfect for the warmer winter days we have been so #blessed to have. It is paired with a light sweater and accented with a white bodysuit to add little edge. The bodysuit was a creative touch, followed by a simple long necklace with a gorgeous pendant.
My favorite part about this outfit was the purple slip-on sneakers. These sneakers are currently my fashion trend crush. They can be paired with anything. Notice how the purple creates a touch of color throughout the outfit. During the winter months, I like to keep the pop of color to a minimum.
