WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Punxatawney Phil didn’t see his shadow. For everyone else, this means an early spring; for us Fashionistas, this means less layers and no more feeling like Randy from A Christmas Story when he can’t put his arms down. However, with the way the weather has been fluctuating lately, most Fashionistas and Fashionistos in the Northeast (specifically Indiana, PA) have been left wondering: how should I dress for class? This Fashionista has the answer! This look is perfect for those “warm-in-the-sunlight, cold-in-the-shade” type of days—the type of days where you are freezing in the morning but are tying your sweater around your waist by lunch time. She paired a chambray long sleeve shirtdress with burgundy-colored tights and brown riding boots. Lastly, she accessorizes with a stylish, gold Vivani watch that’s rimmed with silver rhinestones and a set of rings that contrast her emerald nail polish.

The pieces of this look are pretty easy to find, thankfully! A similar dress can be found at Nordstrom. You can find a vast array of Vivani watches at Kohl’s and other department stores.

One Simple Change: You can take this look from an early springtime class look, to a early summer picnic with a just few simple changes. Trade out the tights and riding boots for bare legs and tennis shoes. If tennis shoes aren’t your style, you can always pair this look with gladiator sandals and a statement necklace for contrast. This look is very versatile and can be made to fit almost any occasion.
