Hang up those awful black puffy coats, and please for the love of all that is good and holy put away the UGGs. Spring is officially here and this Fashionista is kicking off the start of the new season in the chicest way possible.
The romper, a rather unique clothing article, meets at the crossroads of style and comfort. For those of you who prefer to roll out of bed and directly into class, throwing on a romper is the perfect transition that won’t leave you longing for your pajamas. Contrary to popular believe, rompers are extremely versatile and can be tailored to fit any event—going to class included.
This fierce Fashionista styled her romper perfectly for the occasion.  The romper itself is trendy, flattering and loose-fitting enough for this Fashionista to stay comfortable all day long. She takes a causal approach on the romper by pairing it with a long cozy cardigan—the perfect item to snuggle up with during those long, boring lectures. The cardigan is not only good-looking, but fully functional and can be taken off and tied around her waist in the event of a heated debate. This Fashionista opted for an olive cardigan rather than a darker hue which allowed her look to be perfect for daytime wear. My personal favorite component of this outfit is the pair of classic Dr. Martens, which are both edgy and quite possibly the world’s most comfortable shoe. Finally, the simple gold necklace complements her skin tone and adds a nice, delicate detail while allowing the star of the outfit—the romper of course—to shine.
One Simple Change: This look can be transformed from day to night with just a few simple changes. By swapping the cardigan for a chic leather jacket, replacing the Dr. Martens with some platform heels and trading in the backpack for a sleek cross-body bag, this Fashionista is ready for a fun night out after a studious, stylish day spent in class.
