Fall is among us as we make our way into October, and it’s time for seasonal wardrobe changes. This also means that school is in full swing. Trying to balance midterms and 10-page papers with clubs and also trying to have a social life can be hard. Having to worry about your appearance on top of that is sometimes just too much to ask. No worries, though, tricking people into thinking you spent more than the 15 minutes you did before class getting ready can be easy with a few quick tips and staple items.
I stopped this Fashionista on her way to class on one of our chillier Wisconsin afternoons. She is sporting a classic pair of black skinny jeans, a staple piece for anyone’s wardrobe. They can be dressed up for a night out or dressed down for a casual class look like she has put together. She paired these with an oversized white knit sweater from Urban Outfitters. A simple sweater like this is great on its own and is perfect for layering as the weather gets colder. On top she paired a retro ’70s-inspired oversized olive jacket for extra necessary warmth. To top it off, she wore a pair of green tinted, round frame Ray-Ban sunglasses and a simple pair of black ankle boots.
With just three simple pieces, some boots and sunglasses, this Fashionista is put together but also comfortable, practical and ready for class.
