Spring semester is finally in full-swing, and with that comes fashion choices that reflect the point you’re at in the semester. With classes still being at their early points, many Fashionistas/os are dressing to the nines, hoping to make a good impression.
Although we all want to look good, comfort is essential to having a successful school year. No one will be excited about going to class if they are wearing uncomfortable shoes or jeans that are too tight (trust me, I still have blisters on my feet from my new shoes that I just HAD to rock on the first day of class). This Fashionista schools us on how to be comfortable and chic at the same time.
We all know I am a sucker for any outfit that incorporates black, white, gray or denim, so naturally I immediately fell in love with this Fashionista’s outfit. She effortlessly rocks all four of my favorite things and tops it off with the cutest hat. Also, let’s not forget her incredible scalloped flats and dainty bracelets. I love how she is playing with texture and patterns in her outfit, but in the most subtle way. The cardigan layered over a sweater adds a nice dimension to her outfit, while still keeping the look minimal. And honestly, how cozy does her cardigan look? I think it is the closest thing that you can have to a blanket without physically bringing a blanket to class. Anything that is cute and reminds me of my bed is good in my book.
One Simple Change: Meeting up with friends for a girl’s night out after class? Simply ditch the hat and flats and opt for some stylish heels to make your look ready for the night.
