WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Imagine that after a long and cold winter of dressing under countless numbers of layers, the sun finally comes back out and the weather has gone from below freezing to 60 plus degrees every day. Sounds good, right? Well you won’t have to think too hard because this is your reality. With the weather finally warming up and the sun shining bright, you have every reason to step away from your winter gear and transition to your spring wardrobe. Spring is another fun season (just like fall) when you can mix and match heavier and lighter pieces from your wardrobe. Follow this Fashionista’s steps to how she created her outfit to seamlessly transition into the new season.

Since going to class is a casual setting, you want to be relaxed and comfortable. But, there are always those days when you cannot resist putting on a great outfit because of the warm weather. A midi skirt is a perfect length for daytime skirts because it is not too short but also not as heavy and restricting as a maxi skirt. To keep from going too dressy with her look, she paired a loose cropped graphic T-shirt to dress down the look. Graphic T-shirts are a great closet essential to have. Not only do they show your personality such as bands and images, but they are an easy way to add an edgy touch to any casual outfit. For shoes, she is wearing a pair of white Converse which makes walking across campus comfortable and stylish. To finish off her look, she stacked on gold bracelets and added a few rings.

To make the transition from winter into spring, slowly start incorporating your warm weather clothes along with heavier winter pieces until you get the readjusted to the new season.

One Simple Change: When nighttime comes, and you’re ready to go to the library for a study session, swap out the midi skirt for a pair of leather joggers. These will keep you comfortable and ready to hit the books, while remaining stylish.
