Just because school is starting back up again doesn’t mean that your outfit has to be boring! Personally, I always find it helpful to wear a fun outfit to class because it makes me more motivated to get involved. Especially since it’s starting to get colder, and classrooms are notoriously cold, you need to find the perfect balance of practicality and cute.
As displayed by our Fashionista here, stripes are always in, no matter what the season. I’m a huge fan of wearing all-black, and you can never go wrong with a black and white ensemble. Being in a city school, neutrals are very popular, which I believe is incredibly chic. As much as I love minimalism, a touch of flair never goes unnoticed. This Fashionista’s striped black and white shirt features a ruffled bottom, keeping it simple but also exciting.
I love leggings as much as the next girl. I’ve definitely been known to wear leggings the majority of the week, because they’re so comfortable and you can wear just about anything with them! Along with the leggings, our Fashionista wears black Jack Rogers sandals with a gold kate spade watch. Additionally, she has a gold necklace with the G initial. To top it all off, she adds a black leather Michael Kors side bag. The touches of gold from her watch, the purse and the necklace are a perfect pop of color for the perfect day of class. Ultimately, the outfit is perfect for a day of class, as it keeps you comfy and ready to learn.
One Simple Change: This outfit could be changed into a perfect casual date night outfit, with tossing a black leather jacket on top. As I’ve mentioned before, leather is the key to every look!
