As we all know, Florida weather is extremely bipolar. It was 30 degrees for a couple of days and then it was 70 again! Since Florida’s weather is so crazy, having pieces to layer is essential. This Fashionista’s cute little number is a casual outfit that’s perfect for a warm sunny afternoon. She was looking to showcase her style by wearing a trendy little outfit for a date at a local coffee shop!
It’s a pretty simple look that can be dressed up or down, making it very versatile. As much as we Floridians all love breaking out our jackets and scarves for winter, it usually doesn’t last long. This adorable outfit makes 79 degrees in January a little more bearable.
First of all, I love her cactus crop top. The cacti obsession has been trending for awhile now, but I don’t think it’s going anywhere yet. If you’re not a big skirt fan, you might find this outfit to be perfect for you! The simple crop top paired with a black skirt and a chambray makes this outfit look casual and effortless. I would describe it as a pretty ideal mix of being hipster and girly without being too girly or too hipster. Throw on some beaded bracelets and your favorite sunnies and you’ve got a stylish outfit that’s perfect for sipping on a five dollar latte!
Oh, and I can’t forget the makeup she wore to complete the look. You can’t go wrong with some dark eye makeup (not too much) and some red lipstick. Since her outfit has a neutral color scheme, the red lipstick gives a nice pop of color and some extra flare.
So, if you’re feeling adventurous, go rock some red lipstick! It’s not just for special occasions. Whenever I put on red lipstick, I always feel extra confident!
