WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

Going to school upstate means bundling up for the frigid cold when going out and about. Just because it wasn’t snowing when you went to class in the morning, doesn’t mean it won’t be when you’re leaving class three hours later. I have also learned that looks can be deceiving in the sense that it may not look cold out, until you step outside to find it is actually freezing out. This Fashionista has accomplished staying warm, cozy and stylish with this outfit.

Her olive colored coat and button-up cardigan are perfectly paired to keep her warm from the waist up. Her coat’s fur trimming around the hood also adds texture to her look. Wearing a pair of leggings is the perfect way to stay comfortable in the cold weather and you can never go wrong with black. Her Sorel boots are not only made for the harsh winter weather, but look the part with the fur trimming. The boot’s tan color also balance out the whole outfit’s color scheme. This Fashionista’s headband is also a great alternative to keeping your ears warm rather than your typical beanie. She also kept her jewelry simple with a silver necklace and studded earrings.

One Simple Change: To spice up this look and make it look more polished for going out in cold weather, ditch the snow boots for a pair of wedge booties. You can also wear a structured coat with a tunic under near versus the more casual look she has on now.
