February is in full swing! If you’re Canadian, it means the novelty of winter, snow. and cold weather has worn, off and you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of spring. And let’s face it, sometimes you’re going to get lazy, and you’ll just want to throw on sweatpants and an oversize sweater and call it a day. However, this Fashionista showed that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort to look stylish.
This Fashionista decided to combat the cold by wearing a Tna jacket. I actually have the same jacket, and it’s one of my absolute favourite clothing items that I own. I tend to wear the jacket all-year round, as (in my opinion) it’s a versatile jacket. I get a lot of weird looks when I walk out in the summer with this jacket in my hands, but trust me: the air conditioning in the malls when you’re wearing shorts and a T-shirt can get a bit unbearable, and having a back up jacket to keep you warm never hurt. In this Fashionista’s case, she decided to pair it with a T-shirt, a plaid shirt, jeggings, and some black Timberlands. The outfit screams style and presentation, but is still incredibly comfy (with a hint of cute on the side).
iPhone cases not only dress up your phone, but they can also make you reminisce on good times. The patterns on this Case Escape iPhone 6s+ case is called “Waves”. Just by looking at it, you can conjure up images of ocean waves and sand running through your feet in your mind. A cell phone case like that certainly helps bring a hint of summer to a cold and gloomy winter day. This Fashionista absolutely adores this case because she used to live by the ocean, so this phone case brings up a lot of memories of home and happiness.
And, of course, a beanie is an absolute essential in this cold weather. Not only does it keep your melon warm and cozy, it is also a great fashion piece to add to any outfit. This Fashionista’s beanie is from ANTI Worldwide, a clothing line based out of Toronto, Ontario. It doesn’t look it, but the beanie is quite thick, ensuring that your melon stays heated and safe from the harsh winter weather. The adorable pom-pom on the top helps add some extra cuteness points to her whole outfit.
Winter doesn’t necessarily mean spending your days looking like you just rolled out of bed. If I could, I would burrito myself in bed and hibernate for the winter (because who wouldn’t). However, life and duty calls. So, this outfit is without a doubt the next best thing.
