With the Florida heat back in full force, there is no doubt in my mind that Floridian Fashionistas/os are already thinking about summer. One of my absolute favorite things about the summertime is festivals. Music festivals, art festivals, film festivals…basically any long period of celebration that calls for a cute outfit, I’m there! Since summer is soon approaching which means festival season is around the corner, I am constantly on the hunt for some festival inspiration and this Fashionista has got me covered.
I take summer concerts/festivals as a chance to push my personal style to its limits, whether it’s wearing a new trend or rocking something completely out of my comfort zone. This Fashionista totally captures her personal style with this boho ensemble. I absolutely love how she mixes patterns, colors and textures to create such a cohesive look. The floral print on her maxi skirt is a great way to add a pop of color to her otherwise neutral look. She adds a bit of detail to her ensemble with the intricate beading on her crop top. To give her look an organic festival vibe, this Fashionista has on an amazing floral patterned kimono, a perfect way to layer an outfit while still keeping cool.
On her feet, this Fashionista has on an amazing pair of huarache sandals. These are a great shoe for any summer concert or festival. They allow for your feet to breathe while still providing your toes some form of protection from overzealous concertgoers. To keep the hot Florida sun off her face and out of her eyes, she has on an amazing wide brim floppy hat. I have recently seen these hats popping up all around campus as a fashionable way to beat the Florida heat!
One Simple Change: Take this look from a daytime festival to a date night by switching out the hat for a cheeky headband and throwing on your favorite pair of wedges!
