You can find a concert to go to any day in Chicago. In the summer, that’s all anyone is talking about. Besides being a great way to hang out and listen to new music, concerts are a great occasion to show off some personal style.
This Fashionista was spotted wearing one of my favorite must-have pieces: the jean jacket. I love how versatile this piece is and how much of an impact it can have on an outfit. It has the ability to be dressed up or dressed down, and it has been worn both ways by many celebrities, including some of my favorites: Keira Knightley, Miranda Kerr, Victoria Beckham, Blake Lively and Emma Stone. The jean jacket is a staple piece right now.
Figuring out what to wear when going to a concert can be tricky. Whether it’s indoors or outdoors, you never know what the temperature will be like, or how you will feel. This Fashionista is wearing a great go-to look. She is sporting comfy yet fashionable shoes, a trendy high low skirt, a cross-body bag and, of course, the jean jacket. It looks good and it’s also probably pretty comfortable, which is a must during a concert.
Another plus to wearing a jean jacket is that if you get too hot, you can take it off and tie it around your waist. That’s in right now, so take advantage of it before it becomes dorky again. If we can manage to bring back that, maybe we can try to bring back gaucho pants. Those were the best!
One Simple Change: After rocking out to some sweet tunes, it might be time to grab some grub with your date. To take this look from placid to posh, I would suggest swapping the skirt for a pair of skinny black pants, adding a necklace, and if you’re feeling it, donning a pair of black sandal heels.
