Summer is here. That means outdoor concerts and music festivals. After seeing hundreds of photographs from this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and the CMA Music Festival, I noticed many different trends among my concert-going peers. From cowboy boots and dresses to high-waisted shorts and crop tops, many different fashion trends were sported during these fun-filled weeks.
This summer, I have seen most girls rocking printed rompers, laid back T-shirt dresses and solid maxis. Around festival season, that is not always the case. High-waisted shorts, distressed denim jeans and crop tops come out to help endure that summer heat. However, even in this brutal weather, you can still express your own sense of style into your concert outfit of choice.
This Fashionista shows off her edgy style from head to toe. Her black taper spikes bring her outfit together without being too distracting. Her simple TOMS shoes sunglasses aid in not only protecting her eyes but in keeping her outfit very simple. The short sleeve graphic shirt gives this Fashionista an opportunity to show off her favorite band and her artsy tattoos. The ripped denim is bold and draws attention away from her graphic T-shirt to the rest of this Fashionista’s outfit of choice. The black Converse with colorful graphics bring in her own personal style to this hardcore and edgy outfit. This Fashionista is ready to rock out at her next concert in style.
One Simple Change: Not really a concert-goer? Trade in the Converse for some edgy heels, and throw on a leather jacket! You are ready for a girl’s night out.
