Summer’s here which means it’s concert season. All of the ticket searching you did while procrastinating in the library is finally paying off. No matter what genre you listen to, dressing to impress is always fun when attending concerts with friends. Concerts are a great place to test out trends that you normally wouldn’t. You get lost in a sea of people that you probably don’t know, which makes dressing bold a lot easier. This is a look that I thought was perfect for a summer festival.
Here this Fashionista is rocking an all-black monochromatic look. Living so close to New York City, all-black ensembles are totally acceptable throughout the year; even during the summer, where colored wardrobes normally thrive. This Fashionista is wearing a sheer black maxi top with a slit down the middle. Underneath she is wearing a textured lace bralette. Bralettes are my go-to during the summer because of their versatility and comfort. Next she is wearing black jean shorts with some flower embroidery. Embroidery can add subtle interest to any outfit. For jewelry she is wearing a very delicate silver necklace and then lets her arm candy take over. One of my favorite parts of this outfit is her boho hand chain. It’s a statement piece that is the perfect size to not be overbearing. She added black and silver stacked rings and bracelets to continue her color scheme. For shoes this Fashionista is wearing peep-toe black leather heels. Lastly, her bright white nail polish is was fun way to break up all of the dark in her outfit.
One Simple Change: If you’re attending a concert in an area that will get chilly at night I suggest adding a jacket that you can tie around your waist. It’d be hard to enjoy any concert uncomfortable so why not think ahead?
