As a student at Mercyhurst University, we have to be ready for the weather to change in an instant. Within one week the temperature could go from the low 30s to 75 degrees, and this is not an exaggeration. That is why we have to keep our closets stocked with winter and summer clothes. It can be a hassle to try to fit all your clothes from both seasons in your closet, but we manage.
This Fashionista was going to a country concert for Thomas Rhett, and she just happened to luck out with 75-degree weather. For this outfit, she wore a tan, scoop neck T-shirt dress, a window pane, black and white flannel, as well as black, high-top Converse and a black choker to finish the look. Wearing a flannel to a country concert is what our generation likes to call “basic,” but this Fashionista put a twist on classic look. Mixing these neutral colors added an overall edginess to the look that gave it a Yeezy vibe. This makes the outfit more versatile because she could also get away with wearing this to a rap or pop concert.
Knowing that the warmth would not last long, she was prepared with a flannel that would keep her warm as the temperature went back down. However, the weather was not the only surprise that this Fashionista got that day. Little did she know that she was going to meet Thomas Rhett that night! At least she was prepared with this cute outfit that was sure to give him a great first impression.
