In between writing papers, working on resumes, and just trying to make it through the semester, it can be easy to forget to have fun. For me, that was the case and I decided that I needed to take a break and just hang out with my friends. I decided to kick back and go have fun at a concert with my closest friends. For me, concerts are one of my favorite events to attend. I love listening to live music, singing at the top of my lungs, and most importantly, checking out all the cool outfits everyone else is wearing. The variety of styles present always inspire me and are just as exciting as hearing my favorite song being played live. From the classic band T-shirts and jeans to different takes on today’s latest trend, you can find it all at a concert, making it a great place to people-watch and find outfit inspiration.
My favorite outfit of the night had to go to this Fashionista who took one of this season’s biggest trend, the slip dress. I absolutely love how versatile slip dresses can be but I never thought that you could style it for colder weather. This Fashionista decided to pair her dress with a long line gray duster coat and knee high socks to keep warm. Pair that with heeled boots and a red bag for a pop of color and the outfit comes together to create an adorable concert outfit. I love her outfit because it combines very trendy and fun pieces perfect for hanging out with friends, dancing, and cutting loose. This is the perfect outfit for having fun and taking a break from writing papers even if it’s just for one night. So, as the semester starts to come to a close, don’t forget to take a break and have a little fun and look stylish while doing it.
