Love is in the air. Although Valentine’s Day is over, that doesn’t mean you can’t continue to celebrate your love with your significant other all month long or even after. Figuring out what to wear on a date night can be kind of stressful. You’re faced with deciding whether want to be dressy or if you just want to go with a casual look. Your date night look also depends on what kind of place you will be going and what you will be doing.
This Fashionista went with more of a casual look for her date. She mentioned that instead of wearing something pink (a festive February color), she decided to keep her outfit neutral  and add a pop of color with some red lipstick. This Fashionista’s red lip is classy, instead of being cliche. This Fashionista also paired a contrast striped shirt with some basic blue jeans and some black lace-up pumps. Depending on the weather. you could also add a coat or a thin jacket; being that it was very cold out she made sure to stay warm with an oversized camel coat.
When it came to accessorizing, she just kept it basic with a cross-body bag. If you are a fan of accessorizing, I suggest adding a simple necklace. You don’t want to over do it or take away from the contrast stripes in the top.
This Fashionista wanted to go with more of a natural look. She mentioned that she didn’t do much to her hair and had just air dried it. It all depends on how casual you want to look.
One Simple Change:Â Going out for brunch with the girls before your date? Put your hair up in a cute bun or change up your lip color. Maybe it’s too cold for heels; you can stay warm by switching out the heels for some booties.
